The Columbarium

All Saints' Columbarium was constructed in 1987 in order to buttress its historic church building on the south side, and became fully integrated into the complex as part of the 1998 Centennial Hall construction. It contains 282 concrete compartments ("niches") for the placement of cremated human remains, and is finished with attractive wood paneling and niche covers. The inside measurements each niche are 9.5" wide by 9.5" high by 12" deep.
The Columbarium is not a public depository for cremated remains. Its purpose is to provide a permanent resting place for the cremated human remains of Anglicans (and, possibly, members of inurned Anglicans' immediate and close family). The operation of the Columbarium is licenced under the Cremation, Interment and Funeral Services Act and the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act of the Province of B.C.
As a courtesy, a Memorial Book is maintained inside the entrance to the Columbarium which may contain a page or two of memorial information (such as a picture and/or an obituary) about those laid to rest in the Columbarium.
